Our annual outing for this year on Saturday 28th July was to Shrewsbury and Blakemere.
The historic town of Shrewsbury with over 650 listed buildings was our first port of call. The coach dropped the group members off outside the medieval church of St Mary’s boasting a history of first inception in Saxon times. Arriving in plenty of time for shopping and sightseeing we all enjoyed our visit to such an awe inspiring experience of a unique place.
The afternoon was spent in Blakemere village a wonderful venue to suit all tastes. Afternoon tea a stroll around the antiques emporium or maybe the garden centre was more appealing for some. But the day was drawing to a close all too soon and it was time for us all to get back on the road home. Before we did there was just enough time for a photo shoot outside the our conveyance.
Thanks everyone for your support and lovely comments so glad you enjoyed the day.
